Salah Issues Apology to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones

Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah apologised to the group of players after the fallout from his televised remarks.

The Incident

The striker was dropped from a vital match following criticising the club and claiming his relationship with manager had broken down.

“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I'm sorry.’”

The head coach has refused to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.

Looking Ahead

He emphasized that the team's response stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, he was smiling and we all treated him normally,” the midfielder explained.

Jones also suggested that a competitor wanting to play is preferable. “I get that there are specific approaches you can express yourself,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just not start, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

On-Field Response

Their results have been impressive in the period after the situation. The player is convinced the Salah's words were never meant to harm the team.

“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a good place,” he finished. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and on a positive run.”
