Guests will master the art of selection of small dishes, take part in a falafel-making workshop, perfect brunch dishes such as shakshuka, and make hearty mains like spicy mushroom ragu and moussaka. The schedule includes trips to the local market and a local vineyard to taste local vintages, plus free time for walks by the Funcho River, to unwind on the terrace or swim in the pool. The format each day is a high-energy warm-up session, followed by three 90-minute classes teaching different urban dance forms, then an hour-long freestyle session to demonstrate new moves. Dancers are split into levels according to skill level, so it is suitable for those who are completely new to street dance, right up to experienced performers or instructors. This coastal town is the excellent location for a maritime music retreat. Participants will learn historic sailing songs from a experienced musician, and try their hand at composing original ones. The schedule includes vocal warmups, breath control techniques, performance tips and a closing performance. The holiday is held in a country house with views of the bay. Full board are provided, such as a traditional tea on arrival, cooked or continental breakfasts, lunches to go and three-course dinners. Grog, unfortunately, is not included. Writer and tutor an experienced instructor leads the daily workshops on this writing retreat. He covers everything from story structure, characters, setting and suspense, to sending manuscripts to agents.
